The efforts of the Special Delivery women is to promote the support of their community, health services, and the advancement of motorcycle rights. Three ladies (Cynthia Solae’” Winston, Micheala “Storm” Hayes, and Yvette “Infinity” Wilkins) began a sisterhood in October 2004.
Three years later, Yvette “Infinity” Wilkins and her gallant and visionary associates contributed the added dimension of national organization and perpetual membership. These women and those who have come after them need to be remembered as the never-ending stream of eternally young, hopeful, enthusiastic women. The Special Delivery Motorcycle Club was incorporated in 2005 and has gradually branched out and become the channel through which selected women improve motorcycle rights, social and economic conditions in their city, state, nation, and the world.
Special Delivery's mission is to improve fellowship and harmonious social benevolence among motorcyclists and the general public. We encourage responsible motorcyclists to unite and reap the mutual benefits derived from the sport of motorcycling. We encourage motorcycle activities that promote the development of good and substantial highways throughout the State of North Carolina. We assist all legal authorities in the enforcement of all motor vehicle laws and regulations. By doing all of this we broaden our vision to help cultivate and encourage ethical standards; promote unity and friendship among women, and strive to be of service to all mankind.
Today the chapter takes part in various community service opportunities, including the following:
• Adopt-A-Highway
• Food Bank
• Helping Hands
• Mother's Day Out

• and many many more
